Steps to create a View Instance

The "View Instances" represent the different screens of the application.

• Before you start creating a new View Instance, make sure your application is selected on this list. 

• Go to the "Site Build" option and select "View Instances".

•  Then, press this button to create the new View Instance. 

• This screen will be displayed.

• Go to the "Settings" tab.

• Enter this information:

-NAME: Enter the name that will identify your View Instance.

-INSTITUTION: Select an institution.

-VIEW/AREA: Select the Site View and Visual Area, where your View Instance will be deployed.

-SEQUENCE: Enter an identifier for the View Instance, starting with the letter "S" followed by three digits.

-COMMENTS: Write a comment.

-TAGS: Enter the tags that will make the search of your View Instance quicker.

• On the "Components" tab, you will find a list of the components that are available for you to create your screen.

• On the "Search" field, enter the name of the components you would like to use and drag them to the screen simulator.

• For each component, set the attributes located on the right panel. There you will find basic, positioning and style properties as well as some additional properties.

•  On the "Treeview" tab, you will find a tree view list containing the components you have added.

• Lastly, press the "Save" button to save your View Instance
